European Railway Data Space

As part of the "European Railway Data Space" project, the client is developing a cross-organizational system for the management and evaluation of sensor data. Sensor data is generated during the recording of train movements. For this purpose, sensor systems of the client as well as of other manufacturers are installed in the rail infrastructure of various operators. The aim is to collect and manage this data decentrally in such a way that data can be exchanged between different operating companies and, if necessary, with other data users. Typical purposes are predictive information matching on cross-border train movements, predictive maintenance issues or collection of empirical knowledge on rolling stock. The data exchange will be based on contracts between operating companies and other data users.
