Application Process

This is the application for the Erasmus Exchange programme at the University of Birmingham in the winter semester 2025-2026:

1. Departmental Application to Prof. Dr. Constanze Juchem-Grundmann and Ann-Katrin Biehl (Deadline 15 January 2025)
You should provide the following items as PDF documents and send them in one e-mail to the contact person before the deadline

• Motivation letter (in English, max. 2 pages)
  In the motivation letter, try to answer the following questions:
  - Why did you choose the particular university?
  - Why should we send you to the chosen university?
  - Which courses would you like to take at the chosen university?

• Short CV with contact details
  (name, address, email, phone number, your University of Koblenz study programmes)

• List of potential courses
  (Indicate which potential Koblenz courses you would like to study abroad)

• KLIPS Transcript of records
  List of all the courses that you have already successfully completed at the University of Koblenz)

2. Nomination process
You will get an answer via e-mail whether you are admitted a study abroad placement at the chosen university

3. Erasmus application via the International Relations Office
The next steps will be taken care of by the International Relations Office.
