Application Process

The Erasmus partnership with Mary Immaculate College was established by the German Department of the University of Koblenz. Therefore, students with the subjects German studies and English studies are particularly encouraged to apply. This is the application for the Erasmus Exchange programme at Mary Immaculate College in the winter semester 2026-2027:

1. Departmental Application to JProf. Dr. Andreas Weilinghoff (Deadline 15 December 2025)
You should provide the following items as PDF documents and send them in one e-mail to the contact person before the deadline.
Please name the documents as follows: Surname_Firstname_Motivation_Letter.pdf | Surname_Firstname_CV.pdf | Surname_Firstname_Courses.pdf | Surname_Firstname_KLIPS.pdf | Surname_Firstname_Abi.pdf | Surname_Firstname_Studienbescheinigung.pdf

  • Motivation letter (in English, max. 2 pages)
    In the motivation letter, try to answer the following questions:
    - Why did you choose the particular university?
    - Why should we send you to the chosen university?
    - Which courses would you like to take at the chosen university?
  • CV
    (educational background, professional background and contact details: name, address, email, phone number)
  • List of potential courses
    (indicate which potential Koblenz courses you would like to study abroad)
  • KLIPS transcript of records
    (list of all the courses that you have already successfully completed at the University of Koblenz)
  • Scan of Abiturzeugnis
  • Up-to-date Studienbescheinigung

2. Nomination process
You will get an answer via e-mail whether you are admitted a study abroad placement at the chosen university

3. Erasmus application via the International Relations Office
The next steps will be taken care of by the International Relations Office.
