Award for outstanding dissertation
"Pathway to CLIL – A Proposed Sequence of Subjects in CLIL Education Based on Linguistic Requirements of Selected Subjects"
We are very proud to announce that the University of Koblenz has awarded Dr. Sarah Wunderlich the doctoral prize for her outstanding achievements in her dissertation.
In her dissertation, Dr. Sarah Wunderlich focuses on the linguistic requirements of selected school subjects which are taught in a foreign language. She examines the linguistic requirements of mathematics, biology, geography and history. The study makes it clear that the subjects differ significantly from one another, and that introducing these subjects in a specific sequence can promote and enrich the language learning process.
Dr. Wunderlich's dissertation was supervised by Prof. Dr. Constanze Juchem-Grundmann and reviewed by Prof. Dr. Michael Meyer.
