M.Sc. Lecture/Exercise Business Software (BS)

Professor Schubert is on sabbatical in the summer term (SS23). For this reason, the course will be offered only for those study programmes, in which it is a mandatory module. For further details, please refer to the section below.

Professor Schubert is on sabbatical in the summer term (SS23). The classes will be given in the regular lecture slot in room G409 by Simon Meier. The content of the lectures will be additionally made available week-by-week in the form of a lecture video (produced by Professor Schubert in English).

Master's students with fundamental prior knowledge about business administration (according to Modulhandbuch)
Attention: In this semester the course will be only available to students who need this module as a mandatory module in their study programme.

Assessment and Grading (Lecture Course)

Credit Points

• Lecture Course (2 SWS): 3 credit points

• Exercise (2 SWS): 3 credit points

• Total (4 SWS): 6 credit points

Description

A course information document will be provided in the course community on UniConnect (see below).

Registration via KLIPS is mandatory. If you have an account on UniConnect AND are registered in KLIPS for this course, you will be added to the course community before the start of the lecture. If you do not have a UniConnect account yet, please create one. Registration is available through the UniConnect SelfService using your University e-mail address (see below).

Please note that the team formation deadline in the Business Software Community is a firm deadline. If you are not enrolled in a team by this deadline, you will not be able to complete the course in this semester.

Literature and Material

All materials (if electronically available) will be uploaded and made accessible on UniConnect. The academic literature will be available in an online system called Mendeley (a literature management system) in a Mendeley group called "Class Business Software". Further details will be provided in the exercise sessions.

Some sessions (group feedback and presentations) will partially be held as a block course on extra days. Details will be announced in the course community on UniConnect.

Please note that the team formation deadline in the Business Software Community is a firm deadline. If you are not enrolled in a team by this deadline, you will not be able to complete the course in this semester.

What do I have to do to participate in the course?

In order to participate in the course, access to the collaboration platform UniConnect is required. Materials such as lecture and exercise materials (videos, PDFs, ...) or announcements as well as communication between lecturers and students take place in a community in UniConnect.
