Before you take up a degree course in the subject, discipline of sports science, you must prove your aptitude for sports motor skills!

The sports aptitude test is expected to take place at the beginning of April. Further information on registration and online registration will follow.
The application deadline for the Sports Science program is July 15, 2025 (see here).

If you are unable to attend the aptitude test at short notice, you do not need to cancel your registration. No refunds will be made in the event of incorrect registration or non-participation.
Please bring a valid identity card to the admission test!
Sports aptitude tests that have been successfully completed at another university are recognized, provided they are not older than two years. For example, admission tests are also held at the universities in Kaiserslautern and Mainz.

Contents of the sports aptitude test

Apparatus gymnastics | Two attempts. Men and women: Tutorial on overhead high bar or higher. Hip upswing forwards backwards; hip turn forwards backwards; under-bar swing. The under-hip swing is performed over a hip-high bar or a hip-high rope at any distance from the high bar, which must not be touched. It can be performed either from a hip turn from left to right or after a lower jump with a one-legged or two-legged push-off. |
Football | Duration: approx. 5 min. Team game 4 against 4 with the aim that the ball is guided into the opponent's target zone by the attacking team or received there by a player. Basketball court with target zone last 5 m in front of the baseline. |
