Doctoral committee of the faculty

The committee advises on doctoral procedures at the faculty and is responsible for the formal framework conditions.

Faculty 3: Mathematics / Natural Sciences has had its own doctoral degree regulations since 2 August 2004. With effect from 13 April 2015, the current doctoral degree regulations apply.

The doctoral committee consists of four professorial members as well as one person each from the academic staff, students and technical and administration staff. Deputy members are appointed in the same composition.

The committee is chaired by the dean or a vice-dean as their deputy.
