The ABC of Food is a series of lessons for primary schools consisting of nine teaching units.

Topics such as: Discovering biodiversity - tasting diversity; food groups, their nutrients and nutritional significance; climate and nutrition; processing raw materials into food and the composition of food as well as the basics of hygiene.

As part of the series of lessons, tried and tested nutritional models are also addressed in class. Other important topics include personal hygiene when handling food. Each teaching unit with a theoretical and practical component comprises two periods
