The University of Koblenz is a member of uni-assist. The main task of uni-assist is the evaluation of international school/university certificates in regard to their equivalence to German school/university degrees. Whether you have to apply with uni-assist or directly with the university depends on which group of applicants you belong to:
Applicants who have already been checked by uni-assist
The following documents have to be attached to your application: the uni-assist Evaluation Report (uni-assist Prüfbericht) and - in case you are already studying at a German university - an "Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung" from the university where you are currently enrolled at and a current transcript of records.
Please note that only certified copies of your official documents can be accepted.
Applicants who have already successfully passed a Studienkolleg
University applicants who have obtained their higher education entrance qualification/first degree outside of Germany must apply via the new uni-assist portal "My assist". Please find below a list of the required documents. Please do not send original documents. In addition, you need to send the signed application as a hard copy to the following address:
Universität Koblenz c/o UNI-ASSIST e.V. D-11507 Berlin
Please note that your application at the University of Koblenz can only be considered if you have handed in all required documents before the application deadline and have paid the uni-assist fee. For your first study wish, the uni-assist fee is 75,00€, for every further study wish, the fee is 30,00€.
