EDGE-Skills: European Dataspace for Growth and Education - Skills

European Dataspace for Growth and Education - Skills (EDGE-Skills) has three main objectives:

1. Developing and deploying high value education & skills data ecosystems

2. Developing and deploying innovative cloud to edge services for the educations & skills data space

3. Making the education & skills data space accessible to all

EDGE-skills unites 40 organisations from 8 EU countries (public and private, big and small) to make this happen. It federates the most advanced initiatives and organisations in data space implementation and in the education & skills sector. It is led by Prometheus-X, a non profit dedicated to govern and develop open source building blocks for a human-centric skills data space. EDGE-Skills builds and extends Prometheus-X works and first building blocks to power innovative data ecosystems across Europe and to the benefit of learners. It is expected to have an impact on 5 million learners by the end of the project.
