School term dates

The usual term dates at Harold's Cross are as follows:
AUTUMN TERM: beginning of September until the middle of December (--> after summer break until Christmas holidays)
SPRING TERM: beginning of January until the beginning/middle of April (--> after Christmas break until Easter holidays)
SUMMER TERM: middle of April until end of June (--> after Easter holidays until summer break) 

Application Process

- motivation letter addressed to the headmaster (Mr Mark Glynn) (max 2 pages) 
- short CV (with picture) (max 1 page) 
- up-to-date transcript of records from the University of Koblenz 

Expectations of student interns

Students participating in the internship program are expected to

-        demonstrate a proficient command of English to effectively communicate in educational settings
-        possess prior experience in the primary education sector or working with children, ensuring familiarity with relevant practices and protocols
-        exhibit reliable and trustworthy behavior throughout the internship, maintaining professionalism and integrity
-        provide an up-to-date and clear criminal record certificate (Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) without any entries before the internship starts to ensure compliance with safety and security standards
-        organize travel, accommodation, daily commuting, financing, visa and insurance arrangements
