The Koblenz Writing Center is a place where any writer - including students studying English as one of their main subjects, students taking English courses as part of the Fremdsprachliche Bildung in der Grundschule modules, or students from other departments writing theses or dissertations in English - can come and discuss any type of English language writing task.

The mission of the Koblenz Writing Center is to help students become better writers, and we believe that one of the best ways to do that is by creating a space where students can have a dialogue about writing. Our tutors are mostly Bachelor and Master of Education students studying English as one of their main subjects, and they have each received training in providing feedback during each stage of the writing process. Our one-on-one tutoring sessions are offered online, so you can work with a tutor in the setting that works best for you. The Koblenz Writing Center is overseen by a faculty member from the Department of English and American Studies, and our services are free.
